New Year's Eve: End of 2014!

Hey guys,
I can't believe that it is New Year's Eve already! We came so far in 2014. The trends were like every trend in every year: once it comes, it spreads, but only last a few weeks (or months)! 2014 was a great and monumental year, and it is now coming to a close to welcome 2015!
You may be going to parties or ringing in the New Year with family and friends, and you can still stay stylish while doing that. Here are four outfits based on one shirt that you can wear to welcome the New Year in style:

The shirt is in the center, and all of the outfits are around it:
This classy outfit can be worn anywhere from a fancy party to a party at home. The stunning skirt will bring the elegance, and the bag will town down the overall outfit. Plus, this outfit is versatile because it is perfect for work or a job.
This outfit is very casual, because of the jeans paired with the boots. The embellished necklace creates more of a decorative touch to the outfit. Perfect for a casual day as well. It is great for a casual family party.
This outfit features shorts, which is very daring, considering it is cold outside. The heels are paired with a matching bag, which is very elaborate, considering the bottoms are, after all, shorts. This outfit is perfect for ringing in the New Year in Times Square, that is, if you're daring enough to be outside with SHORTS on.
4: Skirtringbootsbag
This outfit is very chic and stylish. The skirt is longer than the knee, and the boots are over the knee, so the tops of the boots are not visible. The white bag adds a pop of color besides black and burgundy to the outfit. The ring is very delicate and is very pretty with the outfit. This outfit can be for anything, that's how versatile it is.
These are four outfits using one top that can easily be worn for New Year's parties. They are all very stylish, and I love them! Ring in the New Year with style! Happy New Year's! :)

Christmas Eve! (Day 12)

Hey girls,
Can you believe it's Christmas Eve? I can't! This is the last post of the 12 posts leading up to Christmas! I am very excited for Christmas, and I just want to reflect on Christmas. And because this is a fashion blog, I will include a Christmas outfit.
So, Christmas is tomorrow, and there are some things I want to think about, like what Christmas is actually about. Christmas is about many beliefs, and each belief is reflected by some traditions that take place during the holidays, and some are done on Christmas. I just want to make sure no one forgets their beliefs. Honor your beliefs, because they are what shaped Christmas and all of the traditions that you and others have created.
Also, I want to tell you to never forget what you should do and expect. Christmas is not all about gifts, it's about kindness and generosity. Even though it IS fun getting gifts, it's always fun being nice to the people who surround you, and even the people who aren't surrounding you as you open your presents. Even to people you don't even know, it's always nice to be nice, and who knows: Maybe that act of kindness made their day! And even past Christmas and all holidays, it always is beneficial to be nice to others. And it's not cheesy. It's the truth.
I might do a Christmas recap of all my gifts after Christmas, but who knows? Maybe I won't. It all depends. I am very excited to see what I got, but if I don't get EVERYTHING I asked for, it's okay. At least I got something for Christmas. Some people don't get a thing, and that would be a reason to be upset. But I do have gifts under the tree, and I'm grateful for that (all of which I am DYING to open!). But as you open your presents, always remember those people who may not have as much as you. Maybe you could grant a Christmas wish and do something this Christmas? It will be very helpful to the less fortunate, and it will be satisfying to you as well. It's not just a deed. It's an act of kindness. And doesn't that sound great? :)

Now, here is a cute Christmas casual outfit for the spirit of Christmas (almost here!):

The belt can be optional. You can use the belt to cinch the sweater!

I am very excited for Christmas. I can't wait!!!! Comment below on anything you like about Christmas, or anything Christmas related.

Now, for the (LAST) Christmas countdown. This is by far my favorite number!:
ONLY ONE MORE DAY! Actually, LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!!!!! I am so excited! Those presents are going to have to face me soon! ;) Merry Christmas!

Christmas Party Outfits: One Jacket, Four Ways (Day 11)

Hey girls,
Today, tomorrow, or on Christmas (I can't believe it is only 2 days away!!!), you might be going to Christmas parties, and you might run out of things to wear. You can use only one clothing item, and mix and match to create four amazing outfits! The power of mix and matching is great. Your closet, the one you once thought was boring and lifeless, will be completely transformed with what you have in your closet!!!
Here are the four outfits you can create with just one item:

The jacket is in the center, and the outfits are around the jacket:
1: Dressring, heels
Outfit number 1 is classy and elegant. It features a very sophisticated dress, with a playful touch included with the pinky ring. The shoes tie it off to give the outfit a modern look.

Outfit number 2 is more casual, with the jeans and 3/4 sleeve shirt. This outfit is tired off with the boots, and a splash of sophisticated is added with the necklace, to give it an all around party look. Tip: Belt the shirt for more casual, or tuck in the shirt for more sophisticated.

3: Braceletcamibagskirtflats
This outfit is very elegant, and the satin cami adds to that. The skirt is very graceful as well, but it does add that "I'm in charge" look. This look (without the purse), could even be worn to work, seeing that is is perfect for both a work and party environment.

This outfit would probably be for a party with close friends and family, seeing that the jumpsuit is made for that kind of aura, but the delicate jewelry does make the outfit a bit more fancy in general. This outfit is very versatile, depending on how (and where) you wear it.

So this is a way to work one item into four outfits. Comment below on which one is your favorite! I hope these outfits are beneficial to you if you are going to a party soon!

 Now for the Christmas countdown:
Only TWO MORE DAYS until the day!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!! :) :)

Last Minute Christmas Gifts (Day 9)

Hey girls,
Christmas is coming VERY SOON, and some people, like me (haha :D), might not have a gift yet. These are some very last minute gifts that you can give. These gifts might be last minute, but they sure are very good gifts to give, and they are thoughtful too!
 So, here they are:

This is a great gift because it is very useful, plus the scents smell heavenly! They are the perfect gifts to give. Also, the hand sanitizers are a great gift to give. They fit perfectly into purses and bags, and they smell really good. Bath and Body works is my favorite place to get lotions, soaps, and sanitizers! This will make a great gift for anyone in their teens, and even give this to adults of all ages!

Giving makeup is a great idea because it is always useful for girls and women. This particular makeup is "Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express Mascara." I know a lot of girls who would use this kind of makeup, and since it is from Maybelline, it would be a really good gift. And the best part of this gift: it's not ridiculously priced!

EOS is a great company, famous for their cute little spheres of lip balm. I haven't come across someone who wouldn't want EOS for Christmas. When in doubt, buy EOS! EOS stands for Evolution Of Smooth, in case you didn't know. And that is right! EOS leaves your lips smooth and refreshed. Their prices are good, and their products are great for teens to young adults (and maybe even older!). EOS is a great gift to give for the holiday season!!!

I love infinity scarves. I really really love them. They can be used as a winter scarf or a cute accessory to a casual outfit. However you use them, they are still super cute, not to mention cozy. There are many scarves from many places, but I particularly like these two!

This brush from Wet Seal is really cute, and the patterns are very modern. Brushes are really important to "tame" hair, and buying a brush as a Christmas gift is a good idea (in my opinion, because they are one of the many very useful gifts to give). It will come in handy, not to mention it looks super cute! I know I would love getting this brush! It can fit in a large purse, which is good for primping on the go.

This pair of earrings is so cute and girly! I would wear these, if I got them! I love the little bows. They are so delicate and pretty. They are not particularly useful, but I still love them. As soon as I saw these, I thought about outfits to go with them, all of which were girly and casual-cute. These inexpensive earrings would make a great gift!

I love to read, and many people do too. That is why giving the gift of books would be a great idea. The books I chose to talk about are the "Divergent" series by Veronica Roth. These books have been rated very high and the movies are a success. Don't want to read these? If these are too young for you, or you just don't want to read these books, try the 50 Shades or Grey Trilogy. These books are also very popular to the older audience.
I hope that you find all of these helpful as you buy last minute gifts! Buying them in store would be better, because shipping might take too long. These gifts are great for friends and family members with a girly side (makeup, earrings, etc). The holidays are so fun, and I believe that giving and receiving are both great! If you have other last minute gifts that you like, comment below.
Also, I am still excited about getting my tree two days ago! See my other post for the information about my pretty tree!

 Now for the Christmas countdown:
Only 4 days! It's coming closer... :) Start getting everything ready!

Christmas Trees (Finally)! (Day 8)

Hey girls,
Yesterday we finally got our tree! I just want to show you guys pictures of the tree that is currently in my house right now:

So, this is the bare tree, just when it came in, sort of like the BEFORE of the decoration:

Looks pretty boring, right? But every tree has potential...

Now this is our tree in the midst of being decorated, with the lights being strung. This is the DURING part, since you see some of the lights are hanging off of the tree, not yet strung:

Middle part... can't wait to see the finished result!

Now, here is the finished result, the AFTER!I helped decorate the tree, because I love hanging the ornaments and watching it slowly progress from drab to fab! Sort of like a tree makeover!!! And of course, I listened to holiday music while decorating...:

The finished product. Ta da!

This was the finished product of the tree! Let me know how you like it. I love decorating the tree. It is fun and relaxing, like a hobby.
I went to see "The Nutcracker" with one of my friends and her family. It was so amazing, seeing all of the dancers! This is why this post is late, but the dance was really good. :)

Here is a video of my tree and the pretty lights. Also, my mom is very excited about her sweet potato souffle, as heard in the video :) :

I had fun decorating!!!

 Now for the Christmas countdown:
Only 5 days??? #Excited for the day!!!!! :) :) :)

Styling Ugly Christmas Sweaters (Day 6)

Hey girls,
Whenever I think of Christmas sweaters, I think of big, chunky, red and green sweaters with all kinds of patterns and animals and words, all representing the Christmas spirit. People call them "ugly Christmas sweaters" for a reason! But, there are ways to tone down a Christmas sweater and make it agreeable and kind of okay to wear. Here are some ways to rock an ugly Christmas sweater and look fashionable this season:

For an extra touch, add calf high socks!

Most of this stuff is very expensive, and I don't like that, and I'm sorry, but maybe you can find other fabulous items for even less!

This was a very hard outfit to make, and I am still unsure about it. Let me know what you think about it. I especially love the boots and the brooch! The brooch is very festive and very very wintery (if that's a word). :)

Now, the great Christmas countdown (time is passing fast!):
Only seven more days, ONLY A WEEK UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!! This is going to be the longest week ever, but well worth the wait... ;)

Cozy Christmas: Outdoors (Day 5)

Hey girls,
You can be cozy indoors, and you can be cozy outdoors during winter. What does this mean? This means that you can be outside but still feel warm! All you have to do is dress warmly. Here is an example of a winter-perfect outfit that will keep you warm when you are outside, whether you are having a fun snowball fight, or running errands:
This is the perfect look for outdoors in the winter! The pink, white, and black colors all contrast very nicely to me! Also, I am SO sorry this post is kind of late, I had something for school to do. I don't like doing posts late, and I was practically fidgeting in my seat, wanting to get home and finish this post. I am so so so sorry once again.

 Now, the Christmas countdown:
Almost Christmas! I can feel it in the air... :)

Cozy Christmas: Indoors (Day 4)

Hey girls,
As the holidays are coming, it will become colder and colder. You'll need a way to stay comfy, and the best way to stay comfy indoors are the essentials you will need to stay warm and have fun while doing it. These items are super festive and they are perfect to enforce the cozy mood! Here are some key items you can have to make sure you stay comfy and cozy this winter:

Any type of cookies are amazing, but there is something about Christmas cookies that make me smile more than usual cookies. Whether its gingerbread or sugar cookies, Christmas cookies always taste really good and I would be really comfy eating them on a cold winter night. Especially when they are warm, then they are divine! The sugary taste of it all is the finishing touch. I can't wait to make some Christmas cookies and get into the Christmas spirit! Yum!

Ahhh... hot cocoa. Hot chocolate (aka hot cocoa) is the ailment and healing of the soul. :) Plus, it's super delicious! The perfect mix of chocolate and warmth, it will warm you from the inside out! I would love to settle down on my couch with a steaming mug of this amazing drink. It is really easy to make, and you can add hot chocolate's  best friend—marshmallows! Marshmallows are perfect on top of hot chocolate, bringing a total mouthwatering sugar taste to the hot cocoa. The warmth of it is excellent, but sometimes it is REALLY warm and it burns your throat. Well, that's the price you pay for drinking something so delish. :)

What is better for warming up than a toasty fire in the fireplace? I can't think of anything! Curled up in front of a blazing fire with a blanket is what I want right about now. The crackling fire is also very soothing and just listening to it is pure divinity. The fire will warm you right up, and the pretty orange/yellow/red flames are a sight to watch. Instead of occupying your time with something else, why not watch the fire? It might sound boring, but it really is fascinating (and a bit hypnotizing!). Those flames are key for warming your whole body in this chilly winter

Who doesn't like seeing gifts under a tree? Even if they aren't for you, the wrapping and the detail is still very delicate and pretty. There might not be any presents under the tree until Christmas, so this cozy factor might have to hold off until Christmas morning. But still, who says you can't look at your own wrapping? You can wrap a present you have bought for someone and leave it under the tree for a little while and just admire it. It feels good looking at a present you will give to someone else, plus looking at your wrapping job will lift your spirits even more!

You will need something to do while you are living in comfort, and Netflix has the answer! Even if it isn't Netflix, watching TV shows and/or movies either on a phone, computer, tablet, or TV is a great way to have something to do. Catch up on your favorite TV series, or watch a movie you have been dying to watch, but haven't had the time. It is a great way to pass the time! Not a fan of TV or movies, or you just want something else to do? Read! Reading is very time-passing, and it is really fun to read, even a paperback! Here's the book I want to read, but never had time to:

Now I can curl up with this book!

I love pajamas. Maybe it's the name, or the comfort, or maybe both! Whatever it is, pajamas are always sooooo comfy. Fleece or flannel, onesie or two piece, pajamas are great to cuddle up in, and to read or watch TV. I'm getting comfy already! The pajamas shown are really festive and pretty, and look very snug and warm. You can wear any pair, not just these ones. Pajamas are pajamas!

I got the idea for a cozy Christmas from a set on Polyvore. Want to check it out? I really love it, and that is where I got my inspiration. Also, did you know Hanukkah started today? For those of you who celebrate, Happy Hanukkah! :)

Now for the Christmas countdown:
Almost there! A week and 2 days away! Also, Happy Hanukkah!

Ornaments for Your Tree (Day 3)

Hey girls,
Christmas decorations are all about lights, trees, and what goes on the trees: ORNAMENTS! Ornaments are the decorations that I really like, whether they are homemade or store bought. I especially like homemade because there are so many memories! I want to show you some store bought ornaments that I especially need hanging on my Christmas tree:

12345, 6
A good place for ornament shopping is Lane Crawford. It is a great place for really stylish ornaments (and other things for your home as well). I hope I have at least one of these hanging on my Christmas tree! These ornaments will add as much festivity to Christmas as the decorations outside!
 Now for the Christmas countdown:
Christmas is coming, closer and closer!!!

Ankle Boot Love (Day 2)

Hey girls,
I have had ankle boots on the brain lately, and there are ankle boots on my Christmas list that I really want. I have mentioned that I like ankle boots, and I do! I'm going to say this in caps so you know how serious I am: I LOVE LOVE LOVE ANKLE BOOTS!!! They are great with mostly everything, from casual dresses to boyfriend jeans (ankle boots and boyfriend jeans are my favorite combo!) to jumpsuits. To further show my ankle boot love, I am going to show you a few boots that I happen to especially love:

I really would want pair #4 for Christmas! Which boots would you want for a present? And speaking of Christmas, how many more days???

Can't wait for Christmas! Ankle boots... :)

Christmas Countdown! (Day 1)

Hey girls,
Christmas. Christmas is almost here. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and not just because of the presents that I get! I love the holidays because you get to also give, not just receive! I love spending time with family and hanging out with my friends. Also, the cute holiday outfits that I see are part of why the holidays are so special to me (and stylish!). This is an outfit I created based on the holiday cheer and the happy atmosphere:

I love the heels, and the fur detail is nice with this outfit. The vest is cute, but it may be a little too much for the whole outfit. Its still is very stylish! You can wear this to a holiday party or even to a Christmas concert. The Santa hat adds a really nice touch.
I am very excited for the holidays, and I am already counting down the days! Every day, I will post an outfit and how many days until Christmas! So excited!!!

There are only twelve days until Christmas! Have I said already that I am super super excited?!?! Maybe I might post my Christmas list, just for fun. ;) What do you want for Christmas?

Burgundy in the Winter

Hey girls,
It's winter (a new season!) and its time to bundle up. This is the season for cute coats, gloves, and lots and lots of layers! I don't necessarily love the cold, I'm more for summer, but I love the clothes in winter! This is when cool colors come into effect, and even some warm colors too! Then there are boots. Boots are possibly the best footwear on earth. Ankle boots, over the knee boots, slouch boots. I love love boots! Anyway, the look I have made is for a light winter look, sort of the beginning of winter, so not as many layers as mid winter:

I love how the camel and the burgundy colors contrast with each other! I would love to wear this outfit!!! I made this outfit, and you can go check it out. What would you wear in winter? Also, it was Black Friday AND Cyber Monday a few days ago!!! More time to shop!!! What did you buy?
